YCRW President’s Message
Dear Members, Friends and Fellow Republicans,
The 250th anniversary of the United States (Semi-quincentennial) in 2026 commemorates the 1776 signing of the Declaration of Independence, celebrating 250 years of American history, liberty, and the evolution of founding ideals. It honors shared heritage while highlighting diverse perspectives, engaging 350 million Americans to reflect on the past, honor accomplishments, and look toward the future. It celebrates the nation's founding ideals of liberty and self-government while acknowledging how those principles have evolved over two and a half centuries. The Unifying the Nation initiative seeks to unite Americans, fostering a "350 for 250" goal to engage all Americans by 2026. Reflecting on Inclusion: It provides an opportunity to acknowledge a complete narrative, including voices that were originally excluded from the founding values. Celebrations will honor 250 years of contributions from various groups, including farmers, ranchers, and the military. The “Give 4th" Movement is a goal to transform Independence Day into the largest single day of charitable giving in U.S. history.
