YCRW President’s Message

Dear Members and Fellow Republicans,

This month’s meeting will be a very informative one, each supervisor will give a update of their district, with any questions following.

September is month of remembrance which 1st is Labor Day. It honors the American labor movement and the contributions of workers along with it also marks the symbolic end of summer. September 11th is observed as Patriot Day. This year marks the 25th remembrance anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States and are universally commemorated with the motto "Never Forget" to honor the victims and first responders. Flags are flown at half-staff on U.S. government buildings and homes, and many people observe a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m. Eastern Time. Locally you can attend the September 11 ceremonies at the Prescott Valley Civic Center Amphitheater at 6:00 pm. Blessing of the Field will take place just before the 6PM ceremony. You can also volunteer for the Northern Arizona Healing Fields Prescott Valley @ https://www.healingfieldpv.com which I done have the past 5 years. And most of all please visit the field. This display of nearly 3,000 U.S. flags creates an atmosphere of optimism and healing, which must be experienced in person to be truly appreciated.

These are important dates to remember

October 5 – Last day to register to vote

October 7 – Early Vote by mail ballots go out. (Do not mail your ballots back via USPS, over 800 ballots were received late and could not be opened or counted)

October 30 – Last day to vote in person

In spirit of service, we as Republican women continue to stand for the value’s that define our great nation which is celebrating it’s 250 birthday this year. Your voice and your involvement can  make a difference. This is also a time for action, with General Elections November 3rd, now is the time to engage, educate, and empower. Let us be the leader’s who inspire others to get involved
